Meet the Team

Brining over 30 years of entertainment industry experience to Candle & Switch, spanning theatre, television, dance, opera, and architectural lighting. He’s also Executive Director of Cool Mountain Theatre in Jeffersonville, IN, where he tests and refines new tools in real productions—bridging creativity and technology to empower designers and artists everywhere.

Lighting guy for a decade. I am the visionary that conceptualizes solutions and is just mad enough to make them. My goal is to disrupt markets and lower the threshold of entry for technology that small and educational theatre deserve access to.

With over 30 years as a lighting designer and theatre consultant, and as a member of United Scenic Artists Local USA 829, Josh brings deep production and technical expertise to Candle and Switch. Having designed and supported hundreds of shows and venues worldwide, he understands the real challenges faced by lighting designers and electricians. Josh now channels that experience into creating smart, reliable products that make production work more efficient and intuitive.

I Joined on in 2025, with the main purpose of making our software production ready. As we push further into more products my goals are to make sure we are agile and remaining secure.
